Curation and exhibition development for a multi-channel video installation examining cycles of recognition, labor, and renewal within Black identity. Featuring five Black video artists, the project frames the act of “rising” as both celebration and strain—bridging the external validation of a standing ovation with the internal ritual of sun salutations. Through spatial arrangement and moving image, the exhibition navigates tensions between visibility and depletion, offering a reflective environment on balance, endurance, and self-preservation.
